Jozef – Yes.. hard to believe. Icelandic summers are certainly interesting. Some days we have had a max of 12 degrees (without considering wind chill). We figure its hardening us up for a long European winter.
The lovely later summer and autumn days in Germany might de-acclimatise you. At least, I hope you’ll have lovely late summer and autumn days there. In the mean time, hope you enjoy the rest of your travels in Iceland. J
