We spent only a few hours cycling across Slovenia, however, in the interests of scientific discovery, I managed to track down a pastry shop, and purchased myself two pastries.
I really wish I hadn’t.

The first was a cherry strudel coated in a hard, thick, and chewy pastry. Could have been good, but the taste of panadol was way too strong in this one. 1 star.
The second was a kind of pain au chocolate, with a stick to the roof of you mouth pastry and a lingering funny aftertaste. You’d have to be hungry to eat this. No stars.
At least they were cheap!!
