Schaumrolle. From the Oktoberfest in Salzburg. A light flaky pastry wrapped around a soft whipped and sweetened egg white. Nice pastry with no mouth stick, but a bit too sweet for me. 3 1/2 stars.

They had thousands of these at the market, including some that would have weighed a few kilos (no exaggeration). I can only imagine that people buy them after drinking way too many beers. I cannot imagine the mess that they would make on the way back up!!!!
