We cycled most of the day in thick fog. Sounds horrible, but it was lovely, particularly as it meant there was very little wind and it was relatively warm.
The east Fjords are a little more populated, with little towns much closer together. We even managed to stop in a cafe for a beer at lunch time – this was the first time we’ve gone through a town in the middle of the day.

We’ve both really needed the benign weather we’ve had over the last two days. The constant headwinds, rain and cold had got us both down a bit, and the Ferry to Denmark was looking a long way off.
The easier conditions have allowed us to go a bit slower, and to stop and appreciate the scenery.
The weather is forecast to turn bad again tomorrow. Hopefully it won’t set in for too long….
